How does it work?
This filter uses a non-woven synthetic cotton blend with gradient density. The synthetic material used in the filtration media is electrostatically charged, and therefore, the media can attract and trap small particles.
The filter media in these filters is pleated, which boosts the filtration area and dust-holding capacity. Owing to the large surface area, this filter can capture more particles and does not get clogged rapidly, which makes it have a longer service life.
The term “card case” refers to the frame material, i.e., the beverage board, which holds the pleated filter media. This frame is robust, and it preserves the shape of the filter, even when the airflow is high.
Because of the larger dust holding capacity and lower pressure drop, the iTech Card Case Pleated Panel Filters have a high level of efficiency. These filters have achieved EN779 efficiency standards.
Pleated Panel Filters are mainly applied as pre-filtration systems for air conditioning and ventilation systems.
