Fine Filter / Microvee Filter

Breather cleaner air with our highly advanced air filters

Fine filters, or Microvee filters, provide medium to high-efficiency filtration for offices and commercial buildings, utilizing synthetic media with varying densities for effective air purification.

Experience pure and blissful air: Breathe peacefully with iTech Fine Filter/Microvee Filter

These fine filters, or Microvee filters can be used to provide medium to high-efficiency filtration for offices and commercial buildings. These filters make use of synthetic media with altering densities for purifying the air efficiently. They capture smaller particles and are generally used in a multi-stage filtration system as secondary or tertiary filters. A distinct feature of this filter is that it has a labyrinthine structure for efficient air filtration and utilizes HDPE mesh layers for support.

Fine Filter/Microvee Filter

How does it work?

The filter media in our fine filters is generally composed of polyester or other synthetic fibers. These synthetic materials have the ability to capture small particles while enabling the air to flow with a low resistance.

iTech Fine Filters/Microvee Filters feature a labyrinthine structure. This structure has a maze-like pathway through which the air flows and the particles are efficiently trapped. Compared to a flat filter, the labyrinthine structure offers a greater surface area for the flow of air. The increased area in turn increases the filtration efficiency. Therefore, finer particles have greater probability to be captured as the air flows through the intricate maze. The large surface area also causes the filter to process larger volumes of air while maintaining a low pressure drop and resistance to airflow.

The fine filter applies the mechanisms of interception, impaction, and diffusion to perform filtration.

HDPE mesh layers are used in our fine filters as part of the support structure. HDPE is a durable and chemically resistant thermoplastic that provides stability and mechanical strength to filters. The HDPE mesh prevents the filter media from collapsing by providing a sturdy support, which keeps the filter media in place and assists in maintaining its shape.

In the iTech Fine Filter/Microvee Filter, the filter media is bonded using a resin to improve the durability and performance of the filter.

Applications

Commercial buildings: The HVAC systems used in commercial buildings employ fine filters/microvee filters to enhance the air quality and safeguard the occupants from contaminants.

Data centers: Data centers contain sensitive IT equipment and servers that can be affected by dust and air pollutants. Therefore, the maintenance of an ultra-clean environment is mandatory in these areas to improve the efficiency and longevity of the equipment. Hence, fine filters are used to eliminate fine particles from the air and protect the IT equipment.

Schools and Universities: Fine filters/microvee filters are utilized in schools and universities in areas such as classrooms, gyms, libraries, and cafeterias. Especially, gyms and sports centers in educational institutions involve the presence of body odors, which can be eliminated efficiently using fine filters.

Pharmaceutical industry: Our fine filters are used in labs and cleanrooms in the pharmaceutical industry to prevent the air from being contaminated during the manufacturing processes of drugs.

Hotels: Fine filters are integrated into the HVAC systems in hotels to maintain a good air quality. They help in removing unpleasant odors from kitchens and bathrooms to provide satisfactory service to guests.

Healthcare centers: In hospitals and clinics, fine filters provide clean air in patient wards, ICUs, and operating theaters, thereby preventing the occurrence of infections and maintaining the health of patients and staff.
